Wood ducks are the most colorful waterfowl in Manitoba and are often spotted in Winnipeg. Ken Cudmore, FortWhyte’s own site manager will open his “nest box” of knowledge and hatch your interest in the life of the wood duck! If you own, or are close to a riverbank property, you have a unique opportunity to entice the wood ducks to nest in your backyard by participating in FortWhyte’s Winnipeg Wood Duck Pogram.
