FortWhyte Alive is pleased to offer a special opportunity for grandparents and grandchildren to learn about Manitoba’s natural habitats and how you can do your part in sustaining them, while participating in a variety of activities, games, and crafts. Each week will incorporate an element of biodiversity which you can add to your backyard!

Water: Water is essential for life, but is often difficult for urban critters to access. In this session we will learn the basics of fishing and find out what species can be found in Manitoba. We will also explore the many different bodies of water at FortWhyte and uncover a whole world of invertebrates.
