Introduction to Kayaking

5-9pm Tuesday and Thursday

Always wanted to try kayaking? Introduction to kayaking is an 8 hour course for ages 12 and up. All course will be taught at the FortWhyte Adventure Site (2505 McGillivary Blvd) which has sheltered waters, a dock and sandy beach, and a fully equipped indoor teaching facility. Boats, paddles and PFDs are supplied.

Fee: $115 plus GST, Members: $95 plus GST

Open Paddle

6:30-9pm

Open paddle is available at the Adventure Site (2505 McGillivray Blvd) every Tuesday and Thursday evenings in August. These evenings are supervised by the paddling pros at Mountain Equipment Co-Op, The Wilderness Supply Company and Wave Track. Bring your own boat or try one of ours.

Fee: $5/person
