The best in outdoor adventure programming for campers ages 11-13 (entering grade 6-8 in September 2011
Located at Fortwhyte’s Siobhan Richardson Field Station, meeting at 1961 McCreary Road.
Programs offered from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday
Fox Bay offers the ultimate in outdoor adventures. During each session, sample other adventurous pursuits including canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking (we supply the bikes!), orienteering and archery. Other great activities include swimming, crafts, aboriginal programs and storytelling.
Registration for 2012 begins 2012-March-15, at Noon.
Members: $190/week, non-members $225
July 4-8, 11-15, 18-22, and 25-29
In addition to all the great Fox Bay activities, campers learn the basics of sailing from Manitoba Sailing Association certified instructors in the safe and stable Optimist Pram sailboat. (Approx. 6 hours total sailing instruction. Weather conditions permitting)
