Fox Bay offers the ultimate in outdoor adventures. During each session, sample other adventurous pursuits including canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking (we supply the bikes!), orienteering and archery. Other great activities include swimming, crafts, aboriginal programs and storytelling.

Session 1: Sail Away!

July 5-9, 12-16, 19-23, 26-30

Join FortWhyte for Winnipeg’s only day camp to offer sailing!  In addition to all the other great Fox Bay activites, campers learn the basics from Manitoba Sailing Association certified instructors in the safe and stable Optimist Pram sailboat. (Approx. 6 hours total sailing instruction. Weather conditions permitting)
 

Session 2: Down Under

August 9-13, 16-20, 23-27

Really explore your natural and cultural roots during this session of Fox Bay.  Wilderness survival, living with the land, and soil science activities round out your August Fox Bay outdoor adventure.
