It’s meal time and your food is ready to be eaten...but have you ever wondered where it started and how it ended up on you plate? Is it nutritious and grown close to home? What part of the plant are you eating - the root, the leaf or the fruit? All of these questions will be answered during this school program hosted at our FortWhyte Farms. Explore the four season greenhouse and organic garden. Dig for worms and learn about farm animals. Walk away with a new respect for farming, soil, and the importance of making sustainable choices.

Marvel at the diversity of creatures that reside in wetland habitats as you dipnet for sideswimmers, water boatmen, snails and leeches.
