Explore. describe the volunteer experience at FortWhyte Alive.  The FortWhyte Volunteer Program has a reputation in the voluntary sector for its variety of volunteer opportunities at all operational levels and we are committed to striving for yet another level of engagement such that potential volunteers from all walks of life can find a sense of purpose and fulfilment here.  We invite you to come nourish your mind, body and soul as a FortWhyte Volunteer. 

You can choose a volunteer role from a menu that includes education and visitor services, farm operations, administration, visitor services, nature camp, cafe or fundraising support, as well as maintenance. Different seasons bring different opportunities. We will match you with a role to fit your interests and availability and you will discover a culture that is supportive, welcoming and fun.

Join the FortWhyte Volunteer Corps. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3. Simply follow these steps to get things started:

• Contact the Director of the Volunteer Program by phone at 989-8368 or by email at volunteers@fortwhyte.org
• Register for  the upcoming Volunteer Information Session: Saturday, January 28 from 10:30 am - 1:00 pm in the Interpretive Centre
• Fill in a volunteer application form and return to the Volunteer Program Office
• Come in for a scheduled interview
• Participate in training appropriate to placement to prepare you for your role.
