Super Self-Guided Orienteering! (5-12)

Are we there yet? Your students will never wonder again after polishing their map reading and navigation skills during an orienteering session at FortWhyte Alive! An extensive pre-visit kit, and an introduction by a FortWhyte Alive staff person, will allow you to maximize the fun and learning your class gets out of our permanent orienteering course.

You teacher kit will include maps and keys, an in-depth explanation of how to use the orienteering map and the rules of orienteering at FortWhyte Alive, and background information on the sport of orienteering itself.
