Another sunny day on the greens has come and gone and we are so grateful for the amazing turnout at Bel Acres Golf and Country Club for the 30th Annual Sam Fabro Golf Tournament presented by Thor Plumbing and Heating!
Each year FortWhyte Alive hosts this tournament as a fundraiser for essential environmental education, but it’s also in honour and in memory of Sam Fabro, a FortWhyte trustee and co-founder, and a tireless advocate for nature education.
So, as FortWhyte prepares to grow with the opening of our brand new Buffalo Crossing facility, we can’t help but remember the first welcome centre built on the same spot, and how it was all made possible by Sam’s generosity.
This year, you continued Sam’s legacy and helped FortWhyte Alive raise $76,477 for environmental education – thank you!
