Ready, get set, snow! Campers will spend the day competing in a series of challenges, including tobogganing, snow fort building, and snowshoe races!
What was it like to be a hivernant? Don your ceinture flêché as we learn about how Voyageurs spent the winter in a fun-filled day of “trapping,” trading, snowshoeing, and Voyageur games.

Test your mettle as you learn how to, build fires, make shelters, and find your way through our winter landscape. Campers will leave FortWhyte Alive prepared for anything a Winnipeg winter can throw at them!

We bring the Arctic to you! Spend a day discovering this “cool” ecosystem and its people, and top it off with playing some Inuit games.
Please note that we will not be offering Farm Camp this winter break.
