We love celebrating our amazing team of volunteers.
People from all walks of life are part of the magic here at FortWhyte Alive. From teaching youngsters the wonders of Mother Nature, to chopping wood, to tending to animals at the farm, we simply wouldn't have a FortWhyte without the support of our volunteer community.
That's why we always take the time to say thank you. Last week, we had the pleasure of celebrating our most dedicated volunteers at our annual Volunteer Spirit Breakfast. It was a time to gather, share a meal, and recognize the thousands of hours our team of tireless volunteers invests into FortWhyte each season. Thank you, FortWhyte Alive volunteers!
This year, we had another reason to celebrate. A heartfelt congratulations to Judy Stewart, long-time FortWhyte Alive volunteer, for being awarded the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers last month in Ottawa.
The Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers recognizes the exceptional volunteer achievements of Canadians from across the country in a wide range of fields. Congratulations, Judy!
From all of us, THANK YOU! We are feeling inspired and energized by each and every one of you.
And another big thank you to Lafarge, our longstanding volunteer program sponsor.
Thank you to our volunteer program sponsor:
