Nature Day Camp
December 29, 30, January 3, 4, 5, & 6
December 29th - Survivor – What does it mean to survive?
Spend the morning learning basic human survival skills, and then enjoy the afternoon frolicking in the snow trying to survive like animals do in a boisterous game of predator and prey!
December 30th - Game of Thorns
Enjoy an active day of outdoor competitions with your team. Which group can slide the furthest on the Toboggan slide? Which group has the most bulls-eyes on our snowball targets? Who has the most creative snow craft? Yay team!
January 3rd - Forest Explorer
This lumberjack themed day will involve adventure, exploration and fun! Search for animal tracks, create your own animal shelters and hopefully run into a few furry friends along our travels!
January 4th - Culture-ific Canada
Explore the fascinating diversity of Canadian culture as we play some Inuit games, weave Metis sashes and bake bannock over a toasty fire!
January 5th - Mad Science
What kind of cool science experiments can be done in the winter? Investigate polar bear blubber, fish guts and all sorts of hands-on indoor and outdoor science fun!
January 6th - Time Travelers
Fur trading, taffy rolling and spear throwing, Oh My! This action packed day will take Campers back in time through hands-on activities that will teach them how Prairie peoples have lived in Canada!
Farm Day Camp
January 4, 5, & 6
Farm Camp activities are the same, each day!
We'll feed, water and care for the pigs, chickens and rabbits; collect eggs and bake a home-cooked, local, organic snack; plant seeds and learn about vermicomposting worms; go birding and identify wild tracks; do crafts and play outdoors. Farm camp is a great place to make new friends while learning about life on the farm!
