Students in grades 5 to 8 can still enjoy science on Spring Break! Tune in to learn about sea ice and climate change in the Arctic Ocean through fun and interactive science experiments that you can do in your own home.
This program is held virtually – a link to a Zoom video conference will be sent by email on the day of the event. A Zoom account is not necessary to watch and listen to the program, however virtual access to the program in the form of an internet-connected smartphone or computer is required.
Suggested for students in Grades 5 – 8.

All group programming follows current public health regulations and guidelines regarding group sizes and physical distancing. Face masks are required inside all buildings at FortWhyte Alive. Visitors participating in programs and experiences assume risk associated with using shared equipment.
At this time, we are asking staff and volunteers showing any symptoms to stay home to protect our community. Programs may be cancelled or postponed if staff or volunteers are unavailable to lead them. All visitors registered for a program will be notified as far in advance of the cancellation as possible.
