Did you know that there are 27 species of bumblebee found in Manitoba?
Join entomologists Emily Hanuschuk and Jason Gibbs from the University of Manitoba to find out how bumblebee populations are doing at FortWhyte! You will learn how to safely handle these fuzzy pollinators and observe them before releasing them back into the wild.
Emily and Jason will be leading three surveys; you are welcome to attend one or all three!
(If one date is cancelled due to weather, it will be rescheduled to August 19)
