Guests are encouraged to bring a camera (and to take a bison selfie)!

Passengers must remain on the bus at all times.

Bison Safaris are dependent on weather and dry ground conditions; if FortWhyte Alive has to cancel for either of these reasons you will be offered the choice of either a Baby Bison Walk (about 1.3km) or a refund.

The Bison Safari bus does not have air conditioning and has minimal airflow as the windows do not open.
