Join Paul Shipman as he takes a look at the inspirations for his outdoor adventure cooking book, Feast on Adventure. Paul focuses on the adventures that have shaped his experiences and the delicious meals that accompany him on the trail. Discover how to take your backcountry meals to the next level when you are exploring and connecting with the great outdoors.

About the Presenter

Paul Shipman is decidedly passionate about food, cooking, the outdoors and sharing his experiences and expertise. He is a Paddle Canada instructor and erstwhile trip leader located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The Canadian Shield provides the landscape for his family’s adventures, while the cuisine of Winnipeg’s cultural melting pot informs his palate and recipes. Motivated by his family’s dietary restrictions, Paul shares recipes for flavourful meals that are portable, low-mess, and free of undesirable ingredients
