Learn all about the benefits of having house plants, and how to care for them.
Dig deep into the qualities of proper lighting, soil, water, pot sizes, and propagation. This workshop is geared toward the beginner houseplant owner, but an experienced gardener might be surprised and learn something new!
The presenter, Lori, is a Master Gardener and Master Composter who grew up in a world of plants and has been tending to her own home garden since 1980. Lori believes every home can benefit from houseplants. She believes in life-long learning and enjoys sharing her knowledge with anyone who needs help.
Participants take home an organic fertilizer (worm casting tea) and a handout about different house plants & the light they need.
