FortWhyte Alive is just the spot for your next catch!

Start the season off right by fishing for Northern pike, yellow perch and carp on our lakes. You are welcome to bring your own fishing equipment or rent some from our front desk and fish the shores – no fishing fee required!

All anglers must check in with FortWhyte Alive staff upon arrival.

Fishing is catch-and-release only. Barbless hooks are required.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

No registration required.

The suggested entrance to FortWhyte Alive for this program is through the Alloway Reception Centre at 1961 McCreary Rd.
