FortWhyte is a wonderful mix of grassland, forests, and wetlands — truly a naturalist’s paradise! Our naturalist team will share some of their favourite places to see birds and mammals, what key plants define the different habitat areas, and help you see FortWhyte Alive and all of Southern Manitoba’s natural beauty with a new view!
Suggested for ages 5+, including adults and older adults.
$15 for adults, Seniors & Students
$12 for FortWhyte Alive Member
$10 for children (must be under 12 years old and accompanied by an adult)
All group programming follows current public health regulations and guidelines regarding group sizes and physical distancing. Face masks are required inside all buildings at FortWhyte Alive. Visitors participating in programs and experiences assume risk associated with using shared equipment.
At this time, we are asking staff and volunteers showing any symptoms to stay home to protect our community. Programs may be cancelled or postponed if staff or volunteers are unavailable to lead them. All visitors registered for a program will be notified as far in advance of the cancellation as possible.
