FortWhyte Alive is guided by Respect for the land, for all living things, and for all people and our future generations. We recognize the truth of harms done to Indigenous peoples throughout Canada’s history of colonization and are committed to reconciliation and the building of a better future for all our relations. All are welcome here.
In honour of Indigenous Peoples Day here on Treaty 1 Territory, we’ll be providing complimentary admission for the week (June 21 – 27) for anyone who self-identifies as Indigenous and would like to spend time connecting with nature at FortWhyte Alive.
All group programming follows current public health regulations and guidelines regarding group sizes and physical distancing. Face masks are required inside all buildings at FortWhyte Alive. Visitors participating in programs and experiences assume risk associated with using shared equipment.
At this time, we are asking staff and volunteers showing any symptoms to stay home to protect our community. Programs may be cancelled or postponed if staff or volunteers are unavailable to lead them. All visitors registered for a program will be notified as far in advance of the cancellation as possible.
