Spend an evening canoeing or kayaking for the perfect summer night. Register in advance for a 40-minute exploration of our lake.
No experience is required.
Each ticket reserves one canoe (covers up to 2 adults and 1 child)
Please note that this experience takes place at our Adventure Site — please arrive at our south entrance at 2505 McGillivray Blvd.
Please Note:
A COVID-19 Risk Release Form must be signed before participation. Release forms will be available upon arrival.
Please bring a dry, properly fitting PFD in good working condition to paddle night. If you do not have a PFD, FortWhyte will provide one for you to use during your paddle.
Proof of Registration: We require proof of registration on a printed ticket or mobile device.
Restrictions: Due to tighter monitoring of our lake water quality, we no longer allow personal watercraft on site.
Group Bookings: Please note that we are unable to accommodate large groups at Paddle Night. For information on group booking options please contact Dana Forster, Group Services Manager at (204) 989-8355 x 204.
Cost:
Canoes
$20 per canoe for a 40-minute session. Each canoe can fit a maximum of 2 adults and 1 child. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Kayaks
$15 per kayak for a 40-minute session. Each kayak can fit a maximum of 1 person. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult on another kayak. Children younger than 8 are not permitted on kayaks.
Refund Policy
Please note that experiences at FortWhyte Alive are non-refundable, unless FortWhyte Alive cancels the program due to inclement weather or staff shortage due to COVID-19. If Paddle Night is cancelled you will be informed by 3 pm on the date that you are registered and you will be contacted directly to reschedule or receive a refund. If you do not receive notice of cancellation, it is assumed the event is to go ahead as scheduled.
Please note that refunds will not be provided for booking more boats than required.
