Join us on Muir Lake for an exciting evening of kayaking or canoeing. Register in advance to reserve a canoe or kayak for a 40 minute exploration of our lake. No experience is required. This program promotes outdoor recreation opportunities on one of our 5 lakes.
Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 12 - August 30 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Time slots available: 6:30, 7:10, 7:50.
$12/boat, per 40 minutes time slot - Each canoe can fit 2 adults and 1 child, maximum. Each kayak can fit a maximum of 1 person. Children younger than 8 are not permitted on kayaks. Children 8-13 should be accompanied by an adult on another kayak.

Please note that experiences at FortWhyte Alive are non-refundable, unless due to inclement weather. If paddle night is cancelled you will be informed by 3pm that day. If your paddle night is cancelled, we will contact you directly to reschedule or receive a refund. If you do not receive an email stating cancellation, it is assumed that the event is to go ahead.
This program is held at our Adventure Site (2505 McGillivray Blvd).
Boats must be booked before 5:30 pm on your day of choice to participate.Those registered before 5:30 pm the day of will be on the registration list. Later registrations will require proof of registration on a printed ticket or mobile device. No exceptions.
Make a day of it! Stop in at the Buffalo Stone Cafe for a bite or a cold beverage on Winnipeg's only lakeside patio. The cafe is open until 7:30pm Monday through Thursday all summer long!
