Sod House Pioneers

 

Take a step into the past, as you explore FortWhyte’s sod house. Pioneers will be on site, showing you what the daily life of the pioneers was all about, and answering any questions you have. This is a fun and interactive opportunity to learn a bit more about Manitoba’s cultural history.

Every Sunday  12–4 pm

Included with general admission to FortWhyte Alive. Free for FortWhyte Alive members.

Suggested as a great experience for all ages.

Please note that the Alloway Reception Centre, the Nature Shop, and Buffalo Stone Cafe will be closing early at 5 pm for a private function. The trails and Interpretive Centre will remain open until 8 pm.
