FortWhyte Alive is just the spot for your favourite catch of the season.

Fishing is restricted to Lake Cargill starting September 3 out of respect for the migrating waterfowl. Lake Cargill is stocked with perch, which is a great catch for first time anglers!

Please Note

Fishing equipment rentals subject to availability.

Personal equipment is permitted, providing it is clean, dry, and sanitized. Please be mindful of spreading zebra mussels or any other invasive species to our lakes.
