Join Jason Parenteau, an Indigenous educator and knowledge holder, as he shares plant and animal names in Anishinaabemowin language on this family-friendly forest walk.

Jason Parenteau has been working with FortWhyte Alive as an Indigenous cultural consultant. Jason is a respected member of the Lenape Nation in Southwestern Ontario. As the owner of Miikwan Consulting, an Indigenous Education company, he supports schools, organizations and communities through land-based activities and cultural teachings.
