Step out onto the frozen lake and experience winter in a whole new way.
Turtle Tours brings a warm, welcoming ice fishing experience to FortWhyte Alive, where heated tents, crackling fires, and open skies create the perfect setting to slow down and enjoy the season.
Whether you’re trying ice fishing for the first time or returning for another adventure, this experience invites you to relax, connect, and take in the beauty of winter from the heart of the lake. For those who want to learn more, Turtle Tours also offers a Learn to Ice Fish program, which provides hands-on instruction and traditional knowledge shared by an Indigenous guide.
