Celebrate World Bison Day with the FortWhyte herd!

The Plains Bison is a magnificent mammal and a fitting symbol for the province of Manitoba. See the herd in action, hear how this icon of the prairie almost disappeared, and feel a connection to the herd as you see the miracle of bison. This special walk will discuss World Bison Day and the importance of the FortWhyte herd.

The guided hike is approximately 1 hour in length (1.3km round trip)

Baby Bison Walks are dependent on the weather and trail conditions; in the case of inclement weather, the tour may be postponed or cancelled.
