Hey I’m Sara, I am currently a high school student and this is my second summer working on The Farm. Last year as a junior staff I enjoyed being outside on The Farm and getting to learn and try new things everyday.

Hi I am Simon. I like to work outside and working with my hands and I am interested in working with plants. I like growing them and also working with animals, taking care of them which is what I do here at the farm. I also like music, working out at the gym and I like soccer. I enjoy working at the farm because what I do on the farm is what I am interested in so it is a fun place for me.

Over four sampling sessions from July- August, Joel Gardner identified 8 species of bumble bee occurring here, by catching and releasing 127 individual bees in our Solar Pollinator Garden, as well as other wildflower patches at FortWhyte.

Hi, my name is Arizona and this is my second year working here at The Farm. What keeps me coming back to The Farm is the environment and the people that work here. The Farm is in a nice urban area away from any major distractions. It gives me time to work more effectively on the tasks that I may receive
