Tuesday, April 1 Wild Weather |
Manitoba weather can be wild and our climate is changing! Learn the basics of how to measure weather, and explore how plants and animals adapt to change. Participate in sustainability games and activities that help reduce our climate impacts. |
Wednesday, April 2 Basic Bushcraft |
Improve your outdoor skills and knowledge as we use our capable hands to construct things out of natural materials. Discuss simple navigation, tracking and survival techniques. Plaid shirts are encouraged! |

Manitoba was once a bustling hub for trading companies competing for territory. The fur trade shaped the history of our province. Learn about history on a visit to the bison, play voyageur games to test your strength, and explore new territory! |
Friday, April 4 Food Chain Frenzy |
Discover the connections between plants and animals in the food chain. Who eats who, and how do animals hunt or escape being eaten? Look for wildlife on the trails and play forest games. |

To reach the Interpretive Centre, please pass through the Alloway Reception Centre and continue to the next building. The FortWhyte Nature Shop and the Buffalo Stone Cafe will be open at 9:00 am.
PLEASE NOTE: If families of campers would like to stay and tour the Interpretive Centre, general admission applies.

Late Pick-Up Policy: Train traffic is common near FortWhyte Alive. Please factor this in when planning your route for camp pick up. Families will be charged a late fee of $10 for each 15-minute increment after 5:00 pm.
