Support

Nature inspires, sustains, and helps us grow.

Never in human history have the environmental and social challenges been greater. Never has the need to equip future generations for sustainable living been more urgent. That is why FortWhyte Alive was created over five decades ago, and why your support towards sustaining our expansive range of programs and diverse facilities is so important.

The Cornerstones of FortWhyte Alive

Environmental Education, Social Enterprise, Greenspace, and Outdoor Recreation.

Over its 40-year history of innovative and dynamic programming, FortWhyte Alive has evolved from a modest 'nature centre' into one of Canada's pre-eminent sustainable living education facilities. Situated on 640 acres of diverse habitat within Winnipeg's city limits, FortWhyte's unprecedented bounty of natural, built, and intellectual assets, supports a unique offering of leading edge environmental, social enterprise, and recreational programs to over 100,000 visitors annually.

Now is the time to invest in our shared future.

With your financial support, marginalized youth will experience programs that help provide the skills, knowledge and confidence to succeed as the leaders of tomorrow. Families grow strong as they interact with nature. People of all ages can discover the mental, physical and spiritual benefits of connecting with the natural world.
