We stayed open late for a truly 'wild' night this past Saturday, welcoming guests to explore FortWhyte Alive like they've never seen it before. Over 350 people rediscovered FortWhyte Alive by throwing hatchets, roasting bannock, ice fishing and much more.
We’d like to extend our gratitude to everyone who made FortWhyte Alive’s inaugural Lake Shaker a huge success. The night would not have been possible without our sponsors and partners (Wilder Goods, Cornell Creme, Wilderness Supply, Fireball Whisky, Bothwell Cheese, CPAWS Manitoba, Cabela's, Cloverdale Forge, Joseph Visser and Trip Wire Media). Thanks to Diversity Foods Chefs Kelly Catanni and Ben Kramer for keeping everyone fed and watered, to DJs Ack ’n’ Quack, The Living Room Band and The Reverend Rambler for getting us moving, and to our volunteers for all of your assistance.
And to everyone who attended, and our new FortWhyte Alive Members, THANK YOU for your amazing support and for making this night one we won’t soon forget! We can't wait to do it again. See you on the shores of FortWhyte Alive this summer for part 2!
