October has arrived! From migrating geese to country music, and blacksmithing to pumpkin carving, there's a little something for everyone at FortWhyte Alive this month. Here are a few great ways to spend some time outside this month:

 

1. Honky Tonk Night

Get outside for a goose flight night for the country crowd, featuring artist Quinton Blair. Sit back by the fire for a night of live tunes, cold cans and one of the best backdrops nature has to offer. Learn more.

Our popular Wildcraft series is back, with a unique lineup of experiences not offered anywhere else: Felting with FIBREARTISTRY, spirituality and self-care with Rogue Wood Blog, Wildcrafting with Northlore and blacksmithing with Cloverdale Forge. 3. Sunset Goose Flights

4. Twilight Run: Spooky Sprint

Use your headlamp to light the way through the forests and trails of FortWhyte Alive during
this late night 5 and 10k run! Prizes to our finishers, including best costumes. Join us after
this fun run for some smokies, s’mores and cold beverages by the fire.

5. Halloween in the Forest
