FortWhyte Farms engages youth from diverse backgrounds in hands-on sustainable urban agriculture to gain curriculum credits, employment training and healthy living skills. Youth learn how to work as a team, develop self-confidence and make positive decisions for our community.
Volunteers are needed to assist and lead youth in seasonal activities related to farm operations such as feeding and watering livestock, harvesting eggs, growing seedlings in the greenhouse and preparing and planting gardens beds as well as special projects and healthy, outdoor fun.
