"As my retirement approached, one of my goals was to spend more time outside. I also wanted to work with young children as I had spent my career working with teenagers and adults. Volunteering at Forest School is a perfect fit. It is invigorating to be outside in all kinds of weather and to enjoy nature with those little kids. They actually taught me how to "play" again and they continue to make me laugh every time I am with them. The staff are great to work with too! It is the highlight of my week."
