Most of the trails at FortWhyte Alive are packed with crushed limestone, making the surface suitable for all seasons and visitors, whether on foot, pushing a stroller, or riding a bike.

Whether it’s a casual stroll or a family adventure, spending time in nature benefits your health and wellbeing. No matter how you choose to explore our trails, you’ll be sure to discover something new.

Plus, we’re connected to the longest recreational trail in the world, the Trans Canada Trail.

Cost

Access to our trails is included with general admission and is free for FortWhyte Alive members.

When you arrive at FortWhyte by sustainable active transportation like walking or biking, your admission is free.
