Celebrate Earth Day in style with FortWhyte Alive!
Join FortWhyte Alive in celebrating Earth Day with activities for people of all ages, including presentations, educational displays, crafts, marshmallow roasts, games and much more! Connect with community partners, including Prairie Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, and explore interactive booths throughout the site.
Be sure to visit the Buffalo Crossing building to engage with our partners at Climate Change Connection and check out their youth video challenge with CBC Manitoba. Visitors are invited to watch the videos in the afternoon, enjoy some popcorn, and have a fun and informative Earth Day experience.
While you’re on-site, stop by FortWhyte Farms, which will be open for the day with the market running and farm tours available, an excellent opportunity to explore local food and sustainable agriculture in action.
