Explore lakes aboard a canoe, discovering wildlife along the way right here in Winnipeg.
Relax with the sun on your shoulders and the sound of your paddle cutting the water. Paddling a canoe or kayak is a fun, active way to explore our lakes and spot wildlife, all while escaping the stress of city life here in Winnipeg.
Discovering FortWhyte Alive from the water provides a new perspective of the forest and trails that surround the lakes. Float alongside birds taking flight, watch the fish below, or view the deer on the trails at a distance. On the water, you’ll feel the stresses of day-to-day life melt away.
