On August 23rd, the 29th Annual Sam Fabro Golf Tournament presented by Thor Plumbing and Heating welcomed 130 golfers to Bel Acres Golf and Country Club for food, friends, and – what else – golf!
We were so honoured to have so many people there in person and in spirit as we honoured FortWhyte trustee and cofounder Sam Fabro and played a round in support of environmental education.
Even nature was on our side as the overcast sky held out for the day and wildlife was spotted along the course. (Deer, red foxes, eagles, and even a Northern Leopard frog were spotted!)
Thanks to our generous sponsors and golfers we raised almost $60,000 for environmental education at FortWhyte Alive!
