Volunteering at FortWhyte Alive

Posted on August 1, 2018

Are you looking to:

  • Get work experience?

  • Build your resume?

  • Make connections?

  • Volunteer outside in nature?

We’re on the lookout for teens, professionals, educators and older adults who are looking to make a real difference by providing students and visitors with unforgettable outdoor experiences.

Have fun, meet people who share your interests, and gain valuable experience at a leading destination for environmental education. We supply the hiking trails, wetlands, aspen forests, and wildlife and more. You provide the spirit, enthusiasm for the outdoors and a commitment to the environment.

Plus, we have a lot of fun behind the scenes here at FortWhyte Alive! Our volunteers are the kind of people who help kids roast their first marshmallow over an open fire or teach them the difference between an aspen and a spruce tree. Those are the moments that we live for.

Successful applicants will gain hands-on experience, volunteer outside in nature, and add to their resume by working with an award-winning destination for outdoor education.

We are now accepting applications for School Program Leaders and other seasonal volunteer roles. Deadline to apply is September 1, 2018.
