You’ll start your meal by making a simple tomato salsa to enjoy, along with a salad of mixed greens and herbs, with a chokecherry vinaigrette we’ve crafted especially for this event.
Next, you will be making a beautiful, fall dinner with stunning root vegetables, like carrots, beets, onions, and turnips, as well as fresh tomatoes and squash. You will enhance these Manitoba staples with fresh herbs, like tarragon, oregano, rosemary, and garlic, grown right here at FortWhyte Farms!
For your main course, you’ll dine on locally sourced, sustainable chicken. Or for those choosing a vegetarian or vegan meal, a finely crafted lentil loaf, made with toasted pumpkin seeds, currants, and apples!
